My name is Alessia Berra and I breed 100 goats. With their milk I produce cheese. I live with my goats in Platischis, which is a little village in the district of Taipana, in the \u201cAlta Valle del Torre\u201d, in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region.
\nIn 2008 I founded \u201cZore\u201d, my farming and livestock company: the word \u201czore\u201d in the local dialect means \u201cdawn\u201d. Every morning my goats and I watch this dawn, which then becomes the sun that shines in the fields where goats graze freely during the summer.
\nThe strong bond with the land where I was born and brought up made me decide to breed my goats here and to produce my own cheese.
\nI graduated in Natural Sciences at the University of Padua and then I specialized in zootechnics and transformation of dairy products: then it did not take me long to realize that my place was my native valley.
\nWith determination, passion, humility and courage I founded my farm and nowadays I still want to give myself a challenge, improving and always offering high-quality products.
